During the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic, Khushiyaan Foundation, led by Chinu Kwatra and supported by MP Rajya Sabha Priyanka Chaturvedi, launched the "Roti Ghar" project. They provided on-ground support by delivering a million freshly cooked meals to those in need throughout the lockdown.

Starting with 1000 meals per day, the initiative quickly scaled up to 10,000 meals daily, benefiting economically weaker sections facing critical situations. The Roti Ghar kitchen, overseen by Rama Kwatra, ensured the quality and quantity of food at every step.

In addition to meal boxes, the foundation extended support by providing dry ration kits, snacks, sanitary napkins, water bottles, masks, and PPE kits. Beneficiaries included families of rag pickers, transgenders, daily wage earners, migrant laborers, and communities in Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai.

The team also conducted a special drive to sanitize and disinfect Covid-affected slum areas and bastis. Their support extended beyond borders to Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Odisha, thanks to collaboration with Kala's Kitchen in Delhi.

Khushiyaan Foundation's Roti Ghar project received global support and appreciation. Chinu Kwatra expressed heartfelt gratitude to donors, well-wishers, and supporters, including ANANTA, TTMS XLNC Dil Se, Child Help Foundation, Helping Hands Ngo, VIEWS, JRP, Kala's Kitchen, Wild West Media Innovations, All Cargo Logistics Ltd, Jupiter Dychem Pvt Ltd, and Bollywood celebrities Farah Khan, Manish Mundra, Kirti Kulhari, Jaaved Jaaferi, Anurag Kashyap, Sonu Sood, and Zoa Morani, who contributed their support.
